My Experience at the Belgrade Marathon 2025

On April 6, I ran the Belgrade Marathon, and I decided to record the experience as it happened — from a first-person perspective. With a GoPro strapped to my chest, I captured almost 2.5 hours of running through the city. It was a great way to preserve the moment and share it — both with friends and with anyone who’s into running or curious about what a marathon really feels like.
📹 Unfortunately, the GoPro battery lasted only for the first 25 km, but that turned out to be enough to capture:
- the atmosphere at the starting line,
- the early crowded kilometers,
- music on the streets, cheering supporters, and funny costumes,
- the rhythm of the city — and the gradual fatigue in each step.
The video is long, but real — no cuts, no edits, just the race as it happened:
🎯 Why I Recorded It
First, for myself. It’s a memory — a way to relive the race a month or even a year later.
Second, because it can be inspiring. Sometimes all it takes is seeing someone run a marathon to feel like going for a run yourself.
And finally, I wanted to share this because I’m also part of the team behind Funkcio.com — a platform where you can find:
- running coaches and sports trainers,
- massage therapists,
- physiotherapists,
- and other professionals who can help you train, recover, or just feel better.
💬 Always Happy to Connect
If you're into running — or just thinking about getting started — feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to chat about training, gear, recovery, or just how sport fits into daily life.

See you at the next start line!
